Wow, so who knew that being married, going to college, and supporting the hubby through med school would keep me so busy? *_* Also, had a lot family stuff this year. I spent the summer in my hometown, did a lot of ancestry research...hung out in the library and graveyards like a creep (j/k I found my great-great-great grandparents buried at a local church). I also gave a baby shower for my husband's cousin, it was camo-redneck-fabulous.

I've actually done several canvas pieces and took a lot of wannabe-artsy-fartsy photos this year. Just haven't had a lot of time to upload them here. Wondering if I should upload them all now in a huge Christmas-break mass-dump-post...your poor DA inboxes, be warned!

I've focused more on reading this year than writing. Mainly, trying to figure out what I like and dislike about stories before I try to write one again. I've noticed that I have a lot of book pet peeves, lol. Such as, why is almost every YA character an orphan or from a one-parent-dead-family? Why do some authors introduce their characters' full name and then ten pages later use a nickname for them the rest of the book? Why are the heroes in romance books always playboys until they meet one special girl? I mean really...once a player always a player, yo.
